Getting Your Bathroom Safe Before Winter
Cold mornings, stiff joints and a slippery bath are a bad mix. Every winter we're asked to fit walk-in showers for people who have had a scare stepping over the bath, or who are putting off washing because the bathroom is too cold. If that sounds familiar, now is the time to sort it — most bath-to-shower conversions are finished in 2 to 4 days, and we can usually survey the same week you call.
- Warm, safe showering — a level-access or low-step shower tray, a fold-down seat and grab rails fitted exactly where you need them, so there is nothing to climb over.
- A warmer room — we can fit a heated towel rail or a new radiator at the same time, so the bathroom is comfortable on the coldest mornings. We're Gas Safe registered (638592), so heating and plumbing are done by the same team.
- Thermostatic showers — the water stays at the temperature you set and can't scald, even if someone runs a tap elsewhere in the house.
